To take children seriously is to value them for who they are now, rather than adults in the making
At Yaffle Care, we transform lives by providing loving support where children don’t just stay – they belong, grow and thrive.
About Us
Yaffle Care is a dedicated family-run provider with a heartfelt mission to create safe nurturing homes, where children can flourish & reach their full potential.
We take a Therapeutic, child-centered approach that puts the needs of our children at the heart of everything we do. With a commitment to compassion and care, we proudly support children and teens aged 8 to 18 through every step of their journey.
Our positive culture will create a nurturing home where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. To equip every child in our care with essential life skills, we ensure they receive care and support that promotes the personal development. To this end, we teach them how to cook, budget, and maintain personal hygiene, understand healthy relationships, stay safe online and in the community, learn how to manage difficult feelings and emotions etc.
The vision
We believe in helping children to regain the enjoyment of childhood and support them in replacing difficult memories with new experiences, opportunities and positive relationships.
We understand that, sadly, we cannot change the circumstances that sometimes lead to children being placed in care or separated from their families. However, as a dedicated provider of children’s care, we are driven by the commitment to ensure that each child in our care receives the stability, compassion, and tailored support they deserve.
Our vision is to create a nurturing environment where every young person feels valued, respected, and empowered to pursue their unique potential. We envision a future where children in care experience continuity, emotional safety, and the resources they need to thrive and grow into resilient, independent adults.
Our home
We’re committed to providing more than just a house to live in it’s a home where each child is supported to grow confidently and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
We’ve created a warm and welcoming home designed to feel safe, supportive, and familiar for each child. Every space is thoughtfully decorated to provide a comfortable, homely atmosphere where children can relax, grow, and feel truly at ease. From bright, inviting communal spaces to personalised bedrooms, each area reflects our commitment to fostering comfort, security, and a sense of belonging. Here, children can relax, explore their interests, and develop essential life skills in a setting that feels like home – a place where they can grow, thrive, and be themselves.

4 ways how we help
Creating a Safe & Supportive home
Our home is not just a place to stay but a secure, welcoming environment where each child can feel safe, valued, and respected. We believe children deserve stability, and we strive to create a homelike setting where they can grow confidently.
Prioritising children's Emotional Health
With a therapeutic approach to parenting, we focus on helping children process difficult emotions, understand their experiences, and develop resilience. We recognise past trauma and work to provide the trust and support needed for healing and growth.
Encouraging Education & Lifelong Skills
Education is foundational, and our staff actively support each child’s learning journey, helping them overcome barriers and encouraging them to reach their academic potential. Life skills, like cooking and budgeting, are integrated into daily routines, ensuring children are ready for future independence.
Building Positive, Lasting Relationships
Relationships are essential for healthy development. Through family visits, peer interactions, and positive role modelling, we help children build trust, manage emotions, and learn social skills, all of which are crucial to their long-term success and happiness
